There are a number of

in the vicinity of Sarlat, some on or near the GR6. For walkers, cyclists and campers they can provide much more enjoyable and hassle-free accommodation than anything in the towns.
Beynac : La Grange , five minutes east of the village towards Sarlat (tel 05.53.49.40.93). Open all year; Nov-April minimum ten people. Le Breuil : Lo Cobano , on the GR6 north of the D47 midway between Les Eyzies and Sarlat - turn north at Benives (tel 05.53.29.66.23). Camping and meals.
