The gare SNCF and gare routiA?re are side by side off bd Carnot (part of the ring road). Not all buses use the main station, though, and if you're heading for the countryside it's best to check first with the regional tourist office at 16 bd Carnot (Mon-Sat 9am-12.30pm & 2-6.30pm; tel 03.25.82.62.70, fax 03.25.73.06.81, www.ot-troyes.fr ). Information on the town of Troyes can also be obtained from the tourist office on rue Mignard, opposite the church of St-Jean (July & Aug Mon-Sat 9am-8.30pm, Sun 10am-noon & 2-6.30pm; first two weeks of Sept Mon-Sat 9am-7.30pm, Sun 10am-noon & 2-5pm; rest of year Mon-Sat 9am-12.30pm & 2-6.30pm, Sun 10am-noon & 2-5pm; tel 03.25.73.36.88). Smaller tourist offices can be found in all the churches mentioned in this section of the website, with the same opening hours as the churches.
