SiA?fok has more than its fair share of
nightlife
, with numerous pubs stretching along Petofi sAŠtA?ny. The
Palace Dance Club
, to the west of town at DeA?k Ferenc utca 2, is the place for serious clubbers and regularly attracts big-name DJs (May to mid-Sept; 1500-2500Ft); they also host summer beach parties - look out for flyers. Alternatively,

by the hotels in the centre of town.
SiA?fok being the birthplace of Imre KA?lmA?n,
operetta
dominates summer entertainment, with performances of his works (usually in German) in the Cultural Centre (
KulturA?lis KAļzpont
) behind the water tower (3500Ft).
Organ concerts

piano recitals
also feature heavily in the summer programme. In early July SiA?fok hosts an
international folklore festival
