fiogf49gjkf0d Bandung's
train station
is located within walking distance of most budget accommodation, fairly close to the centre of town.
Bus
services to Bandung run from every major town in Java, including Jakarta, but many tourists use the
minibus
services organized by losmen in Pangandaran, Bogor and Yogya; they're at least twice the price of public transport and not that much quicker, but can save you a lot of hassle when you arrive in Bandung, as they drop you off at your chosen hotel. The main Leuwi Panjang
bus terminal
for buses from the west is 5km south of the city; the Cicaheum terminal for those from the east is at the far eastern edge of town. Local DAMRI buses serve both stations. The
airport
is 3km northwest of the rain station, served by plenty of taxis.
Bandung's white-and-blue
DAMRI buses
cost Rp250 a journey, and ply routes between the bus terminals through the centre of town. Red
angkots
(minibuses) also run a useful circular route, via the train station and square, to the Kebun Kelapa bus terminal, which services Cicaheum bus terminal, Dago and Ledeng.
