The nightlife in Senggigi, and indeed everywhere on Lombok, is very low-key, in keeping with the Muslim sensibilities of the local population. Licences generally permit music until 11pm daily and midnight on Saturday. At present, nightlife revolves around Club Tropicana in the Senggigi Square Complex and Club Rhino next to Senggigi Sunset 's restaurant on the main street. Most of the places below are open till around 11pm.

Asmara (tel 0370/693619). Set back from the main road, this tastefully furnished and relaxed restaurant offers a moderate-sized menu featuring Western, Indonesian and Sasak dishes and a massive drinks list in the moderate to expensive range. Free pick-up throughout Senggigi. Good homemade bread for breakfast. Highly recommended.
