Ferries to Corsica

Happy Lines is the main
ferry
operator between La Spezia and
Bastia
on the island of Corsica (France), running boats most days between mid-April and late September. The crossing takes five hours and costs L33,000/a?¬17.04 per person (much more on summer weekends), plus L82,000/a?¬42.35 for a car. Departures are all in the daytime, but you can book a bargain cabin onboard either for the night before you depart or for the night after you dock (checkout is at 6.30am, however); two-person cabins cost from L42,000/a?¬21.69, four-person ones from L55,000/a?¬28.40. There are also 12-hour crossings to
Olbia
