MAİrida is laid out on a simple grid of numbered streets: even numbers run north-south, odd from east to west, with the zA?calo, Plaza Mayor , bounded by C 60, C 61, C 62 and C 63. MAİrida's bus stations lie around the corner from each other on the west side of town. The brand new first-class Came , C 70 no. 55, between C 69 and C 71, is sparkling and air-conditioned, with a guarderAa. Some short-haul buses use minor terminals, but you're most likely to arrive at the busy second-class terminal, on C 69 between C 68 and C 70 which has a hotel reservations desk with some perfunctory tourist information.

City buses don't go all the way from the bus stations to the Plaza Mayor. To walk (about 20min), turn right outside the second-class bus station and you'll be on the corner of C 68 and C 69; the Plaza Mayor is three blocks north and four blocks east. Colectivos from the smaller places off the main highways terminate in Plaza de San Juan, on C 69 between C 62 and C 64. To get to the Plaza Mayor, leave Plaza de San Juan by the northeast corner and walk three blocks north up C 62.

MAİrida's Manuel Cresencio RejA?n airport is 7km southwest of the city. There's a tourist office (daily 8am-8pm), post office, long-distance phones and car rental desks. To get downtown, take a colectivo (buy a ticket at the desk) or bus #79 ("AviaciA?n"), which drops off at the corner of C 67 and C 60.
