buses
leave CancA?n's bus station every 30-45 minutes between 5am and 10pm and drop you at the highway junction, where taxis wait to take you the 2km into town. The
car ferry
to Cozumel (approx US$40 per car and US$5 per passenger) officially departs three times daily, at 5am, 10.30am and 4pm, returning from Cozumel at 8am, 1.30pm and 7pm. The service is erratic, however, and it's best to check the times either in Cozumel or with the tourist office in CancA?n. Although tourist vehicles are given priority you'll need to be at the pier at least an hour before departure to ensure a place.
There are several
long-distance telephones
by the police station on the corner of the plaza, a supermarket, several
cambios
(7am-10pm) and an
ATM
, though no actual bank. Other useful information
