is available from the official office at Portal de La Municipalidad 112, Plaza de Armas (Mon-Fri 8am-4pm; tel 054/211021, extension 3) where they have maps of the city, information on sights and cultural events and can recommend guides, tour companies and hotels. The
Tourist Police
, Jerusalen 315 (tel 054/239888 or 251270), are also particularly helpful with maps and information, plus they have a small exhibition of photos and postcards of major local attractions. The
Terminal Terrestre
also has a kiosk with details of hotels and tour companies, and sometimes maps. Other useful information
