, South Africa's last scheduled mixed goods and passenger steam train, which is more of a jaunt than a means of transport, runs between George and Knysna train station (via Goukamma, Sedgefield and Wilderness) twice daily in summer from Monday to Saturday; less frequently during winter; the journey which takes about 2hr 45min costs R50 single, R60 return; tel 044 382 1361.
