Ciutadella's compact centre could hardly be more convenient. Buses from MaA? and points east arrive at the station on c/Barcelona, just south off the end of the CamA de MaA?, an extension of the main island highway, the C721. Local buses shuttle up and down the west coast from PlaA§a dels Pins, on the west side of the town centre next to the main square, PlaA§a d'es Born. Catamarans from Cala Rajada and car ferries from Port d'AlcA?dia, both on Mallorca, dock in the harbour below the PlaA§a d'es Born.

The turisme (May-Oct Mon-Fri 9am-1.30pm & 6-8pm, Sat 9am-1pm; Nov-April Mon-Fri 9am-1.30pm & 5-7pm, Sat 9am-1pm; tel 971 382 693) has buckets of information on Menorca as a whole and Ciutadella in particular. It's opposite the cathedral on PlaA§a Catedral, bang in the middle of the old town, which can only be explored on foot.
