There's no shortage of
bars
and
clubs
in Puerto, and from June to September the town is heaving all night with Spanish holiday-makers. In the winter months nightlife tends to be more limited, though there are dependable favourites along the Calle La Hoya, such as the nondescript bar and disco

, where there's occasionally live music. The bulk of the clubs and discos are clustered along the Avenida del Generalisimo. There's plenty of variety (including, unusually for Tenerife, a few gay clubs), but in this fast-changing scene its hard to predict what will be "in" next. Most clubs stay open until around 5am most nights - and often won't get going until well after midnight - so there's plenty of time to explore. Other useful information
