Banks and currency exchange ATMs are located throughout the centre of town, for example around the Avda. de la Constitucion and around Plaza Duque de la Victoria. Bureaux de change can be found on Plaza Nueva but banks - which no longer charge commission - are a cheaper option. American Express, Plaza Nueva 7 tel 954 211 617 (Mon-Fri 9.30am-1.30pm & 4.30-8pm, Sat 9.30am-1pm), and the El Corte Ingles department store on Plaza Duque de la Victoria (Mon-Sat 10am-9.30pm) offer good exchange rates, and most large hotels change notes (although rates tend to be poor). Bike and scooter rental Sevilla Magica, c/Miguel Manara 11 tel & fax 954 563 838, through the arch behind the turismo, rents out cycles by the day or half-day (€12 per day). Motorcycles and scooters can be rented from Alkimoto, c/Fernando Tirado 5 tel 954 584 927, slightly south of the Santa Justa train station; prices start at €18 per day for a scooter. Books and newspapers A wide range of books in English is stocked by Vertice, c/San Fernando 33 near the Alcazar. The Beta chain is good for guides and maps; central branches include Avda. de la Constitucion 9 and 27 and Plaza de la Gavidia 7. El Corte Ingles on Plaza Duque de la Victoria stocks English titles and international press. A more comprehensive range of international newspapers is stocked by Esteban, c/Alemanes 15, next to the cathedral. Bullfights Details and tickets from the Plaza de Toros on fight days from 4.30pm or in advance (with commission) from a kiosk at c/Adriano 36. Car rental Avis (tel 954 537 861) and Europcar (tel 954 533 914) are located at the Santa Justa train station. Good local deals are to be had from Atlantic, c/Almirante Lobo 2 (tel 954 227 893), just off the Puerta de Jerez, and Alquila un Coche, Avda. Constitucion 15 (tel 954 216 549). Cinema Most movies showing are listed in El Giraldillo , the listings mag available from the turismo; " V.O. " indicates a screening in the original- language. A " V.O. " venue, Cine Avenida, c/Marques de Paradas 15, specializes in original language films (mainly English). Open-air " cines de verano " (July & Aug) are great places for a beer and a tapa while watching a movie - you should consult the turismo for the latest locations as they tend to change yearly. Flea market A rastro takes place on Thursday mornings along the c/Feria past the Plaza Encarnacion, and a bigger one on Sunday at the Alameda de Hercules. Football Sevilla has two major teams: Sevilla CF play at the Sanchez Pizjuan stadium (tel 954 489 400) and Real Betis use the Estadio Benito Villamarin (tel 954 610 340). Match schedules are in the local or national press. Hiking maps 1:50,000, 1:100,000 and 1:200,000 maps can be purchased from Cartolap, Edificio Sevilla, c/San Francisco Javier 9 (tel 954 656 612), south of the Santa Justa train station. A "made-to-measure" map service will make up maps in the above scales for a defined area; ring Francisco Marquez, c/Las Cruzadas 7, immediately behind the Plaza de Espana (tel 954 423 063). Hospital English-speaking doctors available at the Hospital Universitario Virgen Macarena, c/Dr Maranon s/n (tel 955 614 140) behind the Andalucia parliament building to the north of the centre. For emergencies, dial 061. Internet access New internet cafes are opening all across the city. Alfalfa 10 , Plaza de Alfalfa 10 (daily noon-1am; tel 954 213 841; €3.60 per hr) is probably the city's most attractive internet cafe. Sevilla Internet Centre , Calle Almirantazgo 2 (daily 9am-10pm; tel 954 500 275; €2.50 per hr) close to the cathedral's western entrance is the most central. Ciber-Cafe Undernet (tel 954 991 419; €1.80 per hr) has branches at c/O'Donnell 19 (10am-10pm), near Plaza Duque de la Victoria, and Pages del Corro 182 (11am-3am), in Triana. Police Bag-snatching is big business. If you lose something, get the theft documented at the Plaza de la Gavidia station (tel 954 289 300), near Plaza de la Victoria. Taxis The main central taxi ranks are in Plaza Nueva, the Alameda de Hercules and the Plaza de Armas and Prado de San Sebastian bus stations.
