in Sitges is concentrated in a block of streets just back from the sea in the centre of town: c/1er (Primer) de Maig and its continuation c/MarquA?s de Montroig, c/de les Parellades and c/Bonaire - basically one long run of disco bars, interspersed with the odd restaurant or cocktail bar, all with outdoor tables vying for your custom. Choose from just about any style you care to imagine: pool hall chic, colonial cane, Costa Brava excess or sleek dance-party. More genteel bars are not so easy to come by, though the places right on the seafront are generally quieter. The

in Sitges is frenetic and ever-changing, but chronicled on a gay map of town available from

(see below), as well as from several other bars and clubs. The best concentration of gay bars and discos is in c/Bonaire and c/Sant Buenaventura.
AtlA?ntida , Sector Terramar, 3km south of the town centre. The town's favourite club amongst young ravers, the clifftop AtlA?ntida can be reached on regular buses which run there and back all night from the bottom of c/1er de Maig. Bar Bodega Talino , c/de les Parellades 72. That rare thing in Sitges - a real tapas bar. Bourbons , c/Sant Buenaventura 9. Friendly, long-established bar with a small dance floor. Mainly men, but with some gay women as well. CafAŠ-Bar Roy , c/de les Parellades 9. An old-fashioned cafAŠ with dressed-up waiters and marble tables. It's good for breakfast, or for a glass of cava and a fancy snack. MediterrA?neo , c/Sant Buenaventura 6. Gay techno club packed to overflowing at weekends, especially during the summer. Parrots Pub , Pl de la Industria. Stylish bar at the top of c/1er de Maig that's a required stop at some point of the day; it's just one place you can pick up the free gay map of Sitges. Perfil , c/Espalter 7. Gay bar often packed with a mixed tourist and local crowd. Picnic Bar , Pg de la Ribera (opposite Les Anfores restaurant in the Calipolis hotel). Popular gay hangout, during the day; a good place to eat, too.
