Fethiye's
bus station
is about 2km east of the centre;
dolmuses
to A?lA?deniz, A?alas beach and Kaya village arrive and leave from the old
otogar
, east of the central market. The
tourist office
is close to the theatre, near the harbour at Iskele Meydana 1 (daily: summer 8.30am-7pm; winter 8am-5pm; tel 0252/612 1975). There are two main concentrations of
hotels
- in the downtown area and in the suburb of KaragA¶zler overlooking the marina to the west (there are direct
dolmuses
to KaragA¶zler from the bus station). Downtown, the

(tel 0252/614 3491; under A?5/$8), up the stairs beyond Paspatir Cad, has simple ensuites. Southeast of the centre and handiest for the bus station is

(tel 0252/614 4108; A?5-10/$8-16) is a long hike up above the marina but boasts great views, while

, Fevzi A?akmak Cad 39 (tel 0252/614 2151; under A?5/$8), is slightly noisier but friendly. Just behind it and before you reach the
Savasci

(tel 0252/614 1981; under A?5/$8), similarly friendly and popular with backpackers, with a great terrace. Along from the

, which has its own beach and restaurant; it's just past the official entrance to A?lA?deniz Lagoon on the left.

, both on Paspartu Sok, vie for being the hottest joint in town.
