Next to each other at the north end of the High Street are the
bus station
(with services from Inverness) and the
train station
(a stop on the scenic West Highland Railway direct from Glasgow). The busy
tourist office
is on Cameron Square, just off High Street (July & Aug Mon-Sat 9am-7pm, Sun 10am-6pm; June, Sept & Oct Mon-Sat 9am-5.30pm, Sun 10am-4pm; April & May Mon-Sat 9am-5pm, Sun 10am-4pm; Nov-March Mon-Fri 9am-5pm, Sat 10am-4pm; tel 01397/703781).
