George & Dragon St George's Quay. For a stroll along the river and a quiet drink, either here or the Wagon & Horses up the road are the best pubs. Water Witch Aldcliffe Rd. Canalside pub named after an old canal packet boat. A student crowd munches burgers, shoots pool and hogs the canalside tables.
