Leeds City Station is off City Square on the southern flank of the city centre, and also houses the Gateway Yorkshire tourist office in the Arcade (Mon-Sat 9.30am-6pm, Sun 10am-4pm; tel 0113/242 5242, tourinfo@leeds.gov.uk ). The bus and coach station occupies a sprawling site to the east, behind Kirkgate Market, on St Peter's Street. The Metro Travel Centre at the bus station has up-to-date service details (Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm, Sat 9am-4.30pm; ), or call Metroline (Mon-Sun 8am-8pm; tel 0113/245 7676). If you're planning to see a slice of West Yorkshire over a day or two, consider buying the bus/train day rover (?4.50), or separate bus or train day rovers (?3.80 each).
