Stratford is used to feeding and watering thousands of visitors, so finding refreshment is never difficult. The problem is that many places are geared to serving the day-tripper as rapidly as possible - not a recipe for much gastronomic delight. That said, there is a scattering of very good
restaurants
, several of which have been catering to theatre-goers for many years, and a handful of

offering good food, too. The best restaurants are concentrated along Sheep Street, running up from Waterside near the theatres. Other useful information
