Cape May is a friendly and laid-back place to be after dark; the day-trippers have gone home and the

are enjoyed by locals and tourists alike. If you're after something a bit more lively, head a few miles north to the raucous nightclubs of
Wildwood
. Again, remember that you may have to travel a little farther than you expect to find a bar that serves alcohol.
