The Greyhound station is seven miles north of the city center at 505 W Burgess Rd; bus #10 links it to Pensacola proper. Pensacola is a stop on Amtrak's
Sunset Limited
to LA; the
train station
is at 980 E Heinberg St. Local

serve the city but not the beach; the main terminal is at 1515 W Fairfield Drive (tel 850/595-3228,

At the foot of the three-mile Pensacola Bay Bridge into the city (on the city side), the visitor center , at 1401 E Gregory St (daily 8am-5pm; tel 1-800/874-1234, ), has the usual worthwhile handouts.

in town, try
