Natchitoches lies 150 miles northeast of Lafayette, on Hwy-6 off I-49. Greyhound comes in on the southeast side of town, on Hwy-1; the town has
no public transportation
or taxis, so to avoid being stranded, you should reserve accommodation in advance at a
