The New Crown and Anchor 247 Commercial St tel 508/487-1430. Noisy pub with nightly drag cabaret and a mostly gay crowd.

Student Union 9-11 Carver St tel 508/487-3490. Lively dance club and video bar within the Gifford House Inn that has little to do with students.
