), for a copy of their show guide detailing performance schedules of all the theaters. During the main season (May-Oct), hotel prices rise, especially on weekends, but you can still find some deals. Branson Vacation Reservations (tel 1-800/221-5692) will try to sell you a package deal, but can also book you into a motel, including one of five

Ozark Mountain Country B&B
, Box 295, Branson, MO 65616 (tel 1-800/695-1546), is another reliable reservation service, but if you're visiting in the main season call at least a week in advance. Table Rock State Park (tel 417/334-4704) has campsites for $7. Most places to eat are of the family diner ilk, though it's worth searching out the fat-free menu at

on the Strip, and the down-home cookin' at
The Farmhouse Restaurant
