Milwaukee is well served by air, rail and bus. Its airport , eight miles south of downtown at 5300 S Howell Ave, is connected with the city center by bus #80 ($1.35), and by limousine service ($9). A taxi will set you back about $17. Amtrak is at 433 W St Paul Ave, while Greyhound and Wisconsin Coach (tel 414/272-2156), serving southeastern Wisconsin, operate out of the same terminal at 606 N James Lovell Drive. Badger Bus (tel 414/276-7490, ), across the street at no. 635, runs an express service to Madison (six daily; $22 round-trip). Take care in and around the stations at night. Getting around Milwaukee is easy and inexpensive via the county's extensive transportation system (24-hour info tel 414/344-6711; flat fare $1.35). The Milwaukee Loop is a special trolley service connecting 18 stops in the city's center (Wed-Sat 10am-10pm, Sun till 6pm; $1 to hop on and off all day).
