The Bunnery 130 N Cache St tel 307/733-5474. Great breakfasts, baked goodies, espressos, stuffed omelets and sandwiches.

Cadillac Grill 55 N Cache St tel 307/733-3279. Fancy Art Deco restaurant on the main square, serving up huge burgers, as well as buffalo, wild boar, caribou, antelope and seafood entrees for $15-22. Reservations recommended.

Harvest Natural Foods CafA© 130 W Broadway tel 307/733-5418. Earnest health food store with a veggie food counter: burgers, tofu, baked goods and fruit smoothies to eat in or take out.

Mangy Moose Teton Village tel 307/733-4913. Jackson Hole's legendary ski-bum hangout, the Moose is famed for its aprA?s-ski sessions that segue into rowdy evenings of live rock or reggae (cover charge for live bands $5-10). The bustling upstairs dining room serves decent basic fare like burgers, chicken and pasta; the Moose's Belly downstairs dishes up a pretty ordinary $7 skiers' breakfast buffet.

Million Dollar Cowboy Bar 25 N Cache St tel 307/733-2207. Hugely touristy Western-themed bar, with saddles for seats, a large dance floor, karaoke and big steaks.

Mountain High Pizza Pie 120 W Broadway tel 307/733-3646. Offers casual, low-priced and healthy pizza, calzones and salads.

Old Yellowstone Garage 175 Center St tel 307/734-6161. One of Jackson's finest restaurants, offering flawless service and an Italian-themed menu that changes daily. Sunday night features all-you-can-eat pizza for just $10. Reservations essential.

Pearl Street Bagels 145 W Pearl Ave tel 307/739-1218. It's all in the name: a plethora of fresh and tasty bagels, from tomato-herb to cinnamon-raisin. Daily 6.30am-6pm.

Thai Me Up 75 E Pearl St tel 307/733-0005. Red, green and yellow curries featured alongside interesting seafood variations and noodle dishes (entrees $12-16) at Jackson's only Thai restaurant.

The Rancher 20 E Broadway tel 307/733-3886. Dollar drinks every Tuesday night at this local pool-hall hangout.

The Silver Dollar Bar 50 N Glenwood St tel 307/733-2190. The closest thing to an upscale bar in town, but still pretty relaxed and casual; hosts singers and piano players of variable quality. The silver dollars embedded in the bar-top number 2032.
