Post offices
are open Mon-Fri 9am-noon & 2-4pm. Some open Saturday mornings, too. Many public
phones
only take phonecards which are available from newsagents and post offices. There are no area phone codes in Belgium. The international operator numbers are tel 1324 (or tel 1405 for an English-language service) and they handle collect calls. Mobile phone usage is widespread and the networks are Mobistar, Orange and Proximus.
Internet access
is widespread and you shouldn't have too many problems in tracking down a terminal, either in Internet cafes or in libraries and shops. Other useful information
