Opening hours and holidays

Most
shops
are open Monday to Friday 9/10am-6/7pm and Saturday 10am-2/3pm. Some food shops stay open until 10pm or later and are also open on Sundays.
Public holidays
when most shops and all banks will be closed are as follows: Jan 1; Feb 24 (Independence Day); March 14 (Language Day); Good Friday; Easter Monday; May 1; Whitsun; June 23 (Victory Day); June 24 (St John's Day); August 20 (Day of Restoration of Independence); Dec 25 & 26. Other useful information
