MEAT: IRELAND IS RENOWNED FOR ITS FRESH MEAT AND IT IS THE
CENTREPIECE OF IRISH CUISINE. BEEF, LAMB AND PORK ARE SOME
OF THE MOST POPULAR MEAT PRODUCTS. LAMB IS FOUND AS THE MAIN
INGREDIENT IN THE IRISH STEW, OR AS CHOPS OR ROAST. IRISH
PORK PRODUCTS SUCH AS SAUSAGES, CHOPS, BACON, SAUSAGE MEAT

VEGETABLES: THE MOST COMMON ARE POTATOES AND CABBAGE. MUSH-

ARE TWO OF IRELANDS MOST POPULAR BEER, AND ARE RICH AND
CREAMY STOUTS. BEER IS A PUB PASTIME AND MOST PEOPLE DO NOT
DRINK BEER WITH A MEAL. WHISKEY IS MADE WITH MALT AND IS
