ABOUT 471,240 SQ KMS IN THE NORTH-WEST AND WEST FORMS A
HIGHLY DIFFERENTIATED MOUNTAINOUS TERRAIN. THE REMAINING
324,855 SQ KMS IS FLAT SURFACE CONSISTING OF THE FERTILE
GREEN BASIN OF THE INDUS RIVER, DESERTS AND ROCKY MOUNTAINS.
