SLOVENE CUISINE IS QUITE UNIQUE, DIVERSE AND RICH
BECAUSE SLOVENIA IS GEOGRAPHICALLY SITUATED WHERE

BLACK PUDDING, DUMPLINGS AND DOUGHNUTS/FLOUR DISHES WITH

AND PRUSUT THE DELICIOUS SMOKED HAM.

SLOVENIA IS FAMOUS FOR ITS WINE GROWING REGIONS,
WHICH ARE MADE UP OF 20,000 HECTARES OF VINEYARDS
PRODUCING ABOUT 800,000 HECTOLITERS OF SUPERB
QUALITY WINES. THESE REGIONS ARE DIVIDED INTO THREE.
THE FIRST IS PODRAVSKI, WHERE THEY PRODUCE WHITE
WINES SUCH AS LASKI RIZLING, RENSKI RIZLING, SAUVIGNON,
WHITE AND GREY PINOT, MUSCAT AND CHARDONNAY.
THE SECOND IS POSAVSKI, HERE THEY PRODUCE WHITE, RED
AND ROSE WINES, FOR EXAMPLE, LASKI RIZLING, SAUVIGNON,
BELI PINOT, METLISKA RED, CVICEK AND PORTOS SHERRY.
THE THIRD AND LAST REGION IS PRIMORSKI, PRODUCING
WHITE AND RED WINES: TERAN, MERLOT, REFOSK, REBULA,
MALVASIA AND TOKAY.
