are usually Mon-Wed & Fri 9am-5pm, Thurs 9am-6/8pm, Sat 9am-1/3pm. Almost everything including the supermarkets is closed on Sunday. Newspaper kiosks (
Narvesen
) and takeaway food stalls are open every evening until 10 or 11pm. Most shops and businesses are
closed
on the following days: Jan 1; Maundy Thursday; Good Friday; Easter Sunday & Monday; May 1; Ascension Day (mid-May); May 17; Whit Sunday & Monday; Dec 25 & 26. Other useful information
